Welcome! At Mending Hearts Counseling, my goal is to help you improve your mental health and overall well-being. My name is Marissa Moore, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri. I currently provide virtual therapy services to adults who are living in the State of Missouri. My practice is self-pay only due to the emphasis that insurance companies place on a diagnosis. I have specialized training in working with the LGBTQ+ Community. I use a holistic and humanistic approach to psychotherapy and am excited to walk along with you on your journey.
A Bit About Therapy
Therapy can be exciting and scary at the same time. Therapy can bring up uncomfortable emotions and I'm here to help guide you through those emotions and learn ways of coping that are conducive to healing. If you have any questions about therapy feel free to reach out to me at any time and I'd be happy to answer your questions.
What are your credentials?
My name is Marissa Moore. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri. I have been in practice as a Mental Health Counselor since 2017. I graduated from South University in West Palm Beach Florida in 2017 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Missouri State University and graduated in 2012.
What types of therapy do you use?
I offer both individual and couples sessions through telehealth. I can see clients residing anywhere in the State of Missouri. I use integrative approaches to Therapy, as not every person responds to specific modalities the same way. We will discuss what methods of treatment may work for you during our sessions.
How long does each therapy session take?
Each Therapy Session lasts between 45-60 minutes.
What are your rates?
My session fee is 70 dollars per 45-60 minute session. This can be negotiated if I have available slots.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients. These rates will be discussed through a free 10-minute phone consultation if I determine we are a good fit.
Do you accept insurance?
I don't accept insurance because I want your treatment to be focused on you and achieving your goals rather than goals an insurance company sets for you.
How do I set up an appointment?
